A chelated calcium horse calmer, for focus and concentration without sedation.

Cool, Calm & Collected works best when NOT fed alongside dietary ingredients that work in the opposite way. These ingredients (mostly magnesium and many herbs) are becoming more common in modern horse diets yet have no science to support their use. They are often not clear on product labels and web sites either yet our recent diet reviews show that roughly 75% of modern diets have GABA agonists in them and 95% have added magnesium! To Identify if you have any of these things we strongly suggest that you fill in our Free Diet Review Form so we can make a recommendation with the best possible chance of achieving what you want:

The active ingredient in Cool, Calm & Collected is chelated calcium which supports normal neurotransmission*, this aids better risk analysis and decision making. This product also contains Tyrosine, an amino acid that serves several important purposes in the body including the creation of hormones like dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

Cool, Calm & Collected behavioural supplement helps with:

  • Spookiness
  • Anxiety
  • Overreacting

The Cool, Calm & Collected Starter Pack is magnesium free as standard. If your horse has not used one of our products containing chelated calcium before, or hasn’t had chelated calcium for over two weeks, a Starter Pack is required.

Great customer support and a product that works!

We are in week 3 and our mare is noticeably less anxious out at shows. She took a dislike to the taste but with the addition of the mint powder now eats everything!!

    Very effective!

My horse is so much calmer, less spooky, less reactive even within the herd. I feel the supplement will make his life less stressful...and mine! I will definitely continue its' use.

    Very pleased

Great product, my mare clearly was missing chelated calcium in her diet as she has been much calmer since we started the pack. She was getting spooky which was unlike her and I think it was caused by a change of turn out (grass ie an overload on potassium etc) . I take minerals and diet very seriously and I do quite a lot of research on it. I look to feed a more natural diet free from fillers and unnecessary additives. Equifeast cool calm collected has balanced out everything else and is working very well for her. Great product!

    Wow

My home bred 6yr old Anglo Arab gelding had been increasingly becoming a bit of an over excited hothead. Nothing nasty but would over boil regularly, not listen to my aids, throw some monumental outbursts when out at competitions. I was really starting to wonder if I'd ever get him to settle his behaviour. I contacted Equifeast and relayed my dispair. Firstly they asked me to list the ingredients or all his feeds and calmers. I was advised to stay clear of anything with magnesium as some horses have the opposite of the desired reaction. He started on Cool Calm and Collected starter pack about 4wks ago. I can honestly say that I noticed the change in him immediately. He was more focussed and stopped 'exploding' on me. He has since won 3 classes out showing, 2 reserve champions and has qualified for the Arabian National Championships. Riding Horse & Hack Supreme Championships and Caledonian Championships. Yet he hasn't lost his sparkle. I had stopped competing BD because of his behaviour but when the showing season has finished I intend to go back and give it another go. My friends and fellow competitors can't believe the change in my horse, hopefully this is the end of us being the entertainment factor at events

    Concentration at last!!!

Finally found a product that creates concentration in my horse producing very encouraging dressage results without taking the edge of him for the SJ and XC. He now listens!!!!

    Working progress

Posted by Beth on 25th Oct 2017

I recently started my very very spooky ISH on the starter pack and notice little to no change in his behaviour when coming to the end of the loading period, so I rang the equifeast team up and couldn’t be happier with their help. They have given me a tester pack of the magtune to use along side the cool, calm and collected to see if this makes any difference and if not we have other options to try. So fingers crossed we find the right mix to help me and my horse out. 5* customer service!

    Trial of cheleted calcium

Posted by Unknown on 25th Jul 2017

Tried this product rather than using a magnesium product which I have used occasionally for many years, usually when the grass was changing and my horse became over reactive and over sensitive. It has had a good effect and my horse is not running on her nerves and is less over reactive to outside stimulus. She is quieter , almost stuffy on this powder so it has had a good effect but she almost needs to be pepped up again to have performance at a competition. Definitely works as a calmer and could vouch for this.
