Cool, Calm & Collected® B***proofing™ contains a moderate level of tryptophan in addition to chelated calcium. This product also contains Tyrosine, an amino acid that serves several important purposes in the body including the creation of hormones like dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

The use of chelated calcium in horses is covered by a patent with EquiFeast as the sole licensee worldwide.

A “loading period” is recommended initially. Use a STARTER pack if you have not used a chelated calcium based EquiFeast supplement on your horse recently.

After loading, the follow on version of Cool, Calm & Collected B***Proofing is a very price competitive calmer.

    Just Brilliant

I love my horse now, since using the Bombproofing he is more relaxed and loving, have not seen the psycho horse since.

Does what it says on the tin

This has calmed, focused and improved the performance on my highly strung Welsh D. His dressage scores have improved by over 10% since he started on it ( we are on 2nd tub) previously he was actually galloping in his canter in dressage tests winding himself into a state as tests progressed. Halt was non existent. He is now scoring 67% at novice level in only 6 weeks on the calmer! I can't recommend it enough.

    Amazing product

Posted by Natalie on 24th Apr 2017

I've been using this on my gelding for a couple of years now. He gets easily stressed being ridden and overreacts by going into a blind bolt. This supplement has been a godsend. He's not perfect and it has taken a lot of schooling to help get him to where he is now but this has helped in enabling him to give you a split second to get him back on track whereas before you had no warning or any chance to stop him before he took off. He is more confident in himself and a lot happier. I love that this doesn't making him dopey or change his personality in any other way than making him more relaxed and stop to assess things before reacting straight away.

    Life saving supplement

Posted by Sam on 7th Apr 2016

This is a Really good product I have used this and some of the other chelated calcium formulations for 2 years as my horse varies his magnesium requirement throughout the year with relation to grazing availability, this products flexibility is excellent and allows me to tailor my horses intake and keep him focussed enough to be able to maintain his exercise and training levels without the sluggishness that magnesium alone can sometimes create. & his erratic spooking has stopped

Certainly the best I have tried.

This is not an easy fix by any means but it does make a difference. I have a very spooky Arab, with quite a bit of history. I have been using this product for approx. four months. He does still spook but not as fiercely before. I would prefer him to be calmer still if I am honest, but his decisions tend to be safer now. Personally, the calmer is expensive working out around £10 per week, more than his hard feed. But I have seen a difference in him, he does not spin, stop and rear now. If you are looking for a dope on a rope or a sudden end to your horses behavior then no calmer will do that. But this will enable your horse to make calmer decisions and that can only be a good thing.

    Fabulous stuff! :-D

I can now ride my girl out alone! She will always be a lively sparky girl but now she's a fun ride rather than a scary one! I reduced the bombproofing when I changed her feed 'just to see' & she became a nutter again. Equifeast have enabled me to enjoy my horse so much more. They were & are so helpful with advice (in the beginning & when I altered her diet), the delivery's quick, the price isn't extortionate - I give this company & product a wholehearted 5 gold stars! :-D
