The unique chelated calcium horse calmer, for focus and concentration without sedation.

Cool, Calm & Collected works best when NOT fed alongside dietary ingredients that work in the opposite way. These ingredients (mostly magnesium and many herbs) are becoming more common in modern horse diets yet have no science to support their use. They are often not clear on product labels and web sites either yet our recent diet reviews show that roughly 75% of modern diets have GABA agonists in them and 95% have added magnesium! To Identify if you have any of these things we strongly suggest that you fill in our Free Diet Review Form so we can make a recommendation with the best possible chance of achieving what you want:

The active ingredient in Cool, Calm & Collected is chelated calcium which supports normal neurotransmission*, this aids better risk analysis and decision making. This product also contains Tyrosine, an amino acid that serves several important purposes in the body including the creation of hormones like dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

Cool, Calm & Collected behavioural supplement helps with:

  • Spookiness
  • Anxiety
  • Overreacting

The Cool, Calm & Collected Follow On Packs come in varying magnesium levels, if you're unsure which formulation you require Contact Us.

If your horse has not used one of our products containing chelated calcium before, or hasn’t had chelated calcium for over two weeks, a Starter Pack is required.

Fantastic product that works and amazing support from the company who check up on the progress regularly and this product has helped my mare concentrate and deal with new situations in a more relaxed way. Thank you!

I wouldn't ride my horse if he wasn't on CCC

Posted by mandy on 26th Apr 2016

my horse has been on CCC for a couple of years now, and it has made a huge difference to how he goes and copes with "interesting" situations! We were offered another calmer to try for nothing, but after a month off CCC and taking the other one, he reverted back to being like a 3 year old, instead of the 7 yr old that he was, and became dangerous to ride. I didn't even finish the tub before putting him back on CCC mid mag.

    Amazing product!!!

Posted by Lauren on 14th Apr 2016

Since putting my young mare on cool, calm and collected, her outlook on life has completely changed! Not only is she more focused on the work we are doing, she is also more confident and relaxed! We have gone from being extremely ring-shy, stopping at the first SJ of a course and often getting eliminated to jumping confident clears! The team at equifeast are super helpful and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product or in fact anything from equifeast!

    Big black bucker

Posted by Jenny Allison. Smart on 29th Mar 2016

My lovely horse Moose is known as the big black Bucker. 17.2 Han x lus. Not too bad in the arena but oh boy ! on a hack , look out. Everything will eat him so leaping ,bucking and rearing up and spinning back home are his safety options. Tried lots of different Chalmers that just made his spooking a bit dopey. With cool calm and collected I have a big energetic athletic horse who is now safe to hack out. He still sees the occupational horse eating tiger but he no longer looks for them. I would truly recommend ccc. I love my horse but without ccc our relationship is one of tension and mistrust. Thank you ccc.

CCC for me and my Ronnie every time

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Mar 2016

I introduced CCC to my horse who is not spooky but can be insecure on occasion. I need to be extra safe as I have a hip replacement from a fall so when Kate Cowell recommended it it had to be done. I feel it had helped him stay calmer when he is worried and comes back and listens to me a lot easier . Initial problems with him eating it but resolved by a little vegetable oil!

    Great product!

This calmer is the only to have made a difference to my daughter's pony. It doesn't make him a dope - just takes the edge off so that he thinks rather than flips! The Equifeast team were very helpful too - can't recommend enough.

    getting there

Posted by Lisa Morton on 20th Feb 2016

Needed something to bring my ISH who had been on box rest for 6 months back into work. I bought Mag Tune to add to this product to find the right balance. Working on a balance of Mid Mag at the moment, with signs of it working allowing me to handle, school and turnout with no issues. Hacking on grass areas is an issue at the moment as he becomes very silly, but its only been 5 weeks of finding a balance and 5 weeks of adding Mag Tune, so Im giving it time as there is a difference in mood. The customer service is very good. Trying to get your head around dosage is a pain with the big scoop it would be better with lines, and a little scoop with lines for the Mag Tune rather than a teaspoon.

Seems to work but dosing is difficult

Posted by Unknown on 19th Jan 2016

CC&C seems to be working on my horse but the measuring spoons do not make it easy to be accurate with with the dosage.

Good but needs a better way to measure dosage

Posted by jane staynesforth on 5th Jan 2016

This product appears to have some calming effect however the dispenser provided does not allow for accurate measurement of dosage so it is a bit hit and miss from that point of view.
