Cool, Calm & Collected works best when NOT fed alongside dietary ingredients that work in the opposite way. These ingredients (mostly magnesium and many herbs) are becoming more common in modern horse diets yet have no science to support their use. They are often not clear on product labels and web sites either yet our recent diet reviews show that roughly 75% of modern diets have GABA agonists in them and 95% have added magnesium! My mare has settled and now beging to be more calm which enables her to listen and respond to my aids! We are planning our next dressage competition for next week and hopefully will see a difference in the judges comments!
I discovered CCC when I bought an over reactive pony who asked no questions but would just panic and run. This product does exactly what it says - it helps brain function and was the complete turning point for my pony. He improved after the first dose and his over reaction reduced to a shy and then 'Let's take a look at that scary thing !' I am so grateful to have found EquiFeast and their brilliant products!
This product has certainly helped with spooking. My horse is calmer and more focused.
Been using this product for probably 10yrs with weeks & additions along the way. Keeps my mare focused & with me as much as I can ask of a self opinionated mare. Wouldn’t be without.
Seems to be having a positive effect so far. Will keep going with it. Great customer service.
This is the 2nd horse I've used this product on and it's made a big difference in both horses behaviour, the one I have at the minute was very stressy and prone to napping leaving the yard when hacking alone & was nervous out hacking, his first instinct would be to spin and shoot off at anything that scared him, I now have a horse that 90% of the time is pretty chilled, hacks out by himself and his first instinct isn't to turn and run from what he thinks is dangerous, but to stop, look, process and then carry on & a lot of things he would of found scary doesn't even bother him now, it's lovely to feel him growing in confidence all the time
seems to help will keep using it better some days than others
My n/px IDx has been on CC&C for over a year. He has been much easier to handle, used to spook, plant/fix or panic and it was difficult for him to calm down after he'd been worried. Now he is much calmer all the time and can come back to normal when he does see/hear something to worry him. He is a grey with melanomas and it may not be connected but his perianal melanoma area became swollen over last summer from April. When I used the tyrosine free version the area became a more normal size, could be seasonal and not linked to the tyrosine, will see what happens this summer.
