CoolCORE works best when NOT fed alongside dietary ingredients that work in the opposite way. These ingredients (mostly magnesium and many herbs) are becoming more common in modern horse diets yet have no science to support their use. CoolCORE is the first ever feed based low calorie balancer to be available from EquiFeast which also contains Cool, Calm & Collected, specifically designed to provide nutritional and behavioural support for all horses and ponies. CoolCORE is a highly palatable feed balancer designed to be fed 5 days a week.  

To get the most out of CoolCORE, it should be fed alongside an unsupplemented fibre and (if required) calorie source. If your horse hasn't used one of our products before, a STARTER pack is required first.

CoolCORE contains:

  • Coat and general health support
  • Essential amino acids and biotin for optimum hoof growth and quality
  • Cool, Calm & Collected for behaviour
  • Low Starch/Sugar (Suitable for horses with digestive issues, good doers etc.)
  • No added magnesium

This product is suitable for horses with metabolic issues but they may get even more support from our LamiCORE.

It is important that the rest of the diet s doesn't contain ingredients that conflict with CoolCORE. These include artificial magnesium and many herbal ingredients. Dosage rate for a 550KG horse, 250 grams a day.

* This product does contain some naturally occurring magnesium from the feed ingredients but no artificial magnesium like magnesium oxide, sulphate or chelate.

    Great to be able to find a balancer without magnesium added in, which my horse seems to be sensitive to. My mare can be quite fussy so really pleased that I’ve not had any issues with her eating it either.

    This product really has helped my very reactive horse ,, he seems less reactive although still spooky seems to calm quicker and listens to me more. I would recommend

    Ned is finally sane. Couldn’t be happier with the results from stripping all the rubbish out of his diet. He’s calmer, less reactive an cheaper to keep. What’s not to love?!

    This supplement is brilliant for my Horse, without it he completely overreacts to situations & is very stressy! Coolcore helps him to process things & react in a rational & calm manner leading to a much happier horse & owner!

    Game changer

    I tried this as a last resort for my overly anxious Connie - wow, what a change in him. Having taken advice from the team and started him on the recommended coolCORE balancer, he is so much more relaxed and less troubled. He seems to be able to reason more and has discovered that those butterflies really don’t mean him any harm! He was so close to being sold, this really was a last resort make it break, can’t tell you how pleased I am, he’s staying now for sure! Thank you.

    Good Stuff That's Works A Treat

    I really like the CoolCore because it's had a great effect on my horse as he was miss behaving quite badly. I've now added Tryptophine and Tyrosen to help him and he seems to have responded very well to them both.

    I have an ISH that had become really anxious and very stressy to ride. I noticed a softness in her eye within days of starting her on CoolCore and a difference in her attitude really quickly . She now seems generally much calmer and less worried. I would definitely say she seems to be able to think things through more calmly, so she's much more relaxed. The team at EquiFeast are very helpful too.

    Peace of mind and added bonus

    I have a KPWN with IBD who colics gassy colics a lot, he is also a bit of a noodle and can be a bit spooky, not a lot but I’d rather he didn’t. I initially bought this product for the probiotics and prebiotics in it to help his condition, as he is only on adlib timothy hay with a bit of chaff for a short feed I was worried about him not getting what he needed hence the purchase, the added bonus is the calming effect and that although he is switched on in his work he is even more so now. Love this product

    Less anxiety. Far happier relaxed horse that now deals with loading, new arenas, any change in routines so much better. He is on this product for life!
